"I’m so glad I had my surgery with Weight Loss Team. I was very nervous at first. I asked questions of the people in this support group, they were all answered very well. All of my fears were unfounded. Everything went very smooth, I’m 4 days postoperative and I feel really good. I did feel hungry the first day but that soon subsided. It’s been at least five days since I had any solid food and I do not feel hungry. If you’re considering having surgery with Dr. Hidalgo, and you have questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer any questions you might have. Dr. Hidalgo is a very kind doctor. He is also very attentive as well as qualified. I am eager to make a YouTube video and post some of the suggestions that I have. While we were in Mexico I met someone who was having surgery just like myself. We chose to walk around Puerto Vallarta and one of the things we did was order a mango margarita with no alcohol. This turned out to be a very useful idea. It gave a bit of variety to my “diet” while I was there. It had no added sugar. Yummy!"

"Had my surgery on May 30, 2015. I flew by myself to Puerto Vallarta was picked up at airport by the driver and taken to hotel. Everyone is very friendly the hotel is beautiful. I was picked up the next day with another woman from the states having same surgery. The hospital is very clean and felt great about the care. After surgery my tummy was tender, like too many sit ups. Did spit up bile a couple of times and felt much better. The wait for water was hard. I had drank so much the last few months that I was craving it. Ice chips never tasted so good and then lime sherbet. Monday Dr. Removed drain tube, that was a weird sensation to say the least. Answered all my questions and then we were discharged to hotel. Missed the hospital bed the first night had to use tummy muscles, really wasn’t bad. Next day we went down town and walked around had a virgin mango margarita that was mainly mango and ice, so good. Had chicken soup at hotel. Only had the broth, spicy but no problem it was great too. I am staying until Friday but would have no problem going home earlier, my experience has been great. Don’t wait, it is worth it to have a healthy life."

“Tuve mi cirugía el 30 de Mayo de 2015. Volé por mi cuenta a Puerto Vallarta, me recogieron en el Aeropuerto y me llevaron al hotel. Todo el personal fue muy amigable y el hotel es hermoso. Me recogieron al siguiente día con otra mujer de Estados Unidos que también se iba a hacer la misma cirugía. El hospital está muy limpio y la atención es genial. Después de mi cirugía mi abdomen se sentía como si hubiera hecho muchos abdominales. La espera para tomar agua fue difícil. El lunes el Dr. me quitó el tubo de drenaje lo que fue una sensación rara por decir poco, respondió todas mis preguntas y después me llevaron al hotel. Al siguiente día fuimos al centro de la ciudad y pedimos margaritas de mango sin alcohol, muy ricas. Me quedé hasta el viernes, pero no hubiera tenido problemas en irme antes a casa. Mi experiencia fue genial. No esperen más, vale la pena tener una vida sana.”

The entire weight loss team and Dr. Hidalgo were fantastic at giving me crazy amounts of information and were very quick at answering any questions. 3 Months after the surgery my blood pressure was normal, and I was off of the high blood pressure pills. Greatest decision I could have ever made. Before I was very unhealthy with medical issues. Those have all cleared up even canceling my back surgery for the time being. "En primer lugar gracias  al Dr. Hidalgo que fue el mejor en hacerme sentir a gusto con todo. Fue una gran experiencia desde el principio hasta el final. Mientras mi esposa estaba nervioso :-) Me sentí muy bien y en buenas manos y nunca estaba preocupado. Comencé a las 300 libras, quizás un poco más. Hoy estoy en 195 libras, 1 libra de un BMI saludable. Yo opere el 21 de marzo de 2017. La mejor decisión que podría haber hecho. Antes era muy malsana con problemas médicos. Los que han aclarado hasta cancele mi cirugía de espalda por el momento. No quería salir mucho y siempre estaba cansado. Ahora puedo levantarme a las 3 am hacer cosas alrededor de la casa ir a trabajar y regresar a casa seguir trabajando en mi remodelación de mi casa y hasta ir al gimnasio hasta las 9 de la noche sin cansar.
